Who says you can’t have it all?
Modern mamas are training through and post pregnancy! In NYC it is typical to see a women stylin a 6 month old Baby Bump, a pair of Lulu lemon pants, a cool Athleta top and some Nike sneaks… If fitness if your way of life, LIVE it – by keeping active, and de-stressed through out your entire pregnancy.
Any trainer will know how to modify, but it is always best to email or speak to the instructor first to get their take on you and your growing belly. There are also plenty of pre-natal certified personal trainers. Then always modify, and learn how by doing a bit of your own homework… stay off the ab exercises and over dosing on heavy weights. In Kettlebell Kickboxing my ‘Preggers’ students have been seen swinging twenty ponds and lifting fifteens, easily and safely. BUT- always do your homework first, speak to a doctor, educate yourself and then- keep healthy, fit and fab – baby in belly and sneakers at hand!

Stephanie trained KB all through her pregnancy- and is now using the class to get her pre-baby booty back! (although we don’t think it ever went away- she’s amazing!)
